Niklas Wikström is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and navigation software. Currently serving as Software Engineer III at TomTom since April 2023, Niklas is involved in onboard and driving assistance software for navigation systems. Prior to this role, Niklas contributed as an ADAS Engineer at Lightyear, focusing on planning and control software from April 2022 to February 2023. From February 2016 to March 2022, Niklas held the position of Senior Development Engineer at AVL, leading the development of ADAS and control software that integrated real-time prediction models with on-board and off-board data. Niklas also served as a Simulation & Development Engineer and completed a master's thesis project on predictive adaptive cruise control. Niklas holds a Master of Science in Systems, Control & Mechatronics and a Bachelor of Science in Automation & Mechatronics from Chalmers University of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Gothenburg.
