Renato Lapio

Renato Lapio is a seasoned Principal Process Engineer at TomTom, where since August 2011, contributions have spanned the Global Local Intelligence team, focusing on management metrics and efficiency improvements. Prior experience includes leading process optimizations in the East and Central Europe Data Technology Group and managing tools and processes in the South East and Western Europe regions following TomTom's acquisition of Tele Atlas. With a certification as an Internal Auditor (ISO9001) obtained in 2021, Renato has a solid background in quality training and methods from time spent at Tele Atlas, where responsibilities included training and process implementation within ISO standards. Renato began professional journey in the GIS industry as a Local Data Collector in North West Italy and has also served in a production assistance role at Regione Piemonte. Educational background includes a degree in Geology from Università degli Studi di Torino.
