Our disruptive technology empowers its customers by providing rapid, accurate and on the spot detection of toxins and pathogens.
•	Harness your unharvested potential.
•	On-site information accurate and fast.
We have a dream, where our children have access to safe food, and they can access the same food we enjoyed when we were kids. We understand that all humans have the RIGHT to eat toxin-free and pathogen-free seafood.
Unfortunately, pathogens such as toxic microalgae and bacteria are steadily increasing in oceans, rivers, lakes and underground reservoirs in the last decades. Those microorganisms that occurred naturally, are now a global threat to healthcare and food safety. Key facts from WHOI :
•	420 000 people/year dying after eating contaminated food. 40% are children under 5.
•	600 million people/year fall ill.
•	USD 110 Billion/year is lost in industry productivity and medical expenses.
Why? because the current food safety testing system takes too long to provide results. Adding to:
•	People getting sick and dying.
•	>USD 4 Billion/ year in loses to aquaculture sector.
•	USD Billions in loses to Tourism and recreation.
Tonalli Moana has developed a solution with tests that can accurately quantify the concentration of toxins and pathogens everywhere and anywhere with results in minutes anywhere, everywhere.
TEOTL, our first testing solution, quantifies PSP-toxins in seawater and seafood, addressing the pains of the shellfish aquaculture industry and coastal communities. Tonalli Moana platform can be used to address the pains caused by pathogens such as E. coli, Vibrio, faecal bacteria, viruses and diseases. Our platform can help the food sector to reduce billions of USD in waste and food recalls.
That potential makes our mission to improve food safety while reducing production costs and waste, giving you the certainty that the food you are harvesting is safe to eat, and the confidence that your family won’t get sick.
