Shanon O'Connor

Shanon O'Connor is an experienced leader in the field of STEMM education, currently serving as the Director at TŌNUI Collab since May 2019, where a focus is on creating transformative learning experiences. In addition to this role, Shanon is a Board Member at Te Matarau - the Māori Tech Association and holds a position on the Executive Council at EdTechNZ. As Faculty 6 for Homeward Bound Projects, a global initiative empowering women in STEMM, Shanon contributes to leadership development within a significant network. Other roles include Committee Member at the Te Tairāwhiti Science and Technology Fair and former Centre Director and EdTech Educator at The Mind Lab. Shanon's earlier career includes teaching, communications advisory, and analytical roles across several organizations, supported by a robust educational background in contemporary education and information systems.
