Katie Berbach

Vice President at Tool Testing Lab

Katie Berbach is currently the Vice President at Tool Testing Lab. Katie was previously the Tipp City Council President from January 2010 to December 2021. During their tenure, they oversaw the City's financial operations, including financial planning, fund management, company accounting, management reporting, profit & loss monitoring, compliance, strategic management, donor relations, and reconciliations. Katie also headed board meetings, ensured regulatory compliance, and updated ordinances. Katie was able to successfully define complex policies and procedures into actionable solutions to optimize operational efficiency. Katie also led successful efforts to cut down health insurance benefits and secure constituents' taxpayer dollars. In addition, Katie served as an MPO Member of MVRPC and spearheaded research projects to examine interrelated demographic, economic, and social issues. As the Tipp City Council President, Katie liaised between constituents and the City Manager to plan, direct, manage, and analyze all activities and operations of the city; coordinated programs and services across all departments and outside agencies. Katie also spearheaded and completed multiple projects within the Tip City such as building a new electric facility and water tower in collaboration with team members.

Katie Berbach has a Master of Science in Administration with a focus in leadership from Central Michigan University. Katie also has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources & Business Management from Wright State University, as well as a degree in Business Management from Sinclair Community College.
