David Willson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud operations and systems administration. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Operations at ToolsGroup since May 2023, David successfully redirected the Cloud Operations team to complete a complex migration project ahead of schedule. Previously, as Head of Technology at Moving Picture Company from June 2021 to May 2023, David represented Technology on the Senior Management Team while overseeing the Montreal site, a key technology hub for Technicolor Creative Studios. David's role at Ubisoft from September 2017 to June 2021 involved expertise in DevOps and SRE topics, incident management, and the deployment of microservices. David's earlier positions include leadership roles at Xero from January 2012 to June 2017, where significant contributions were made to site reliability engineering and production platform services, and groundwork at Spark New Zealand from February 2007 to January 2012 in network administration. David holds a Bachelor of Computing Systems degree from Unitec, attained between 2002 and 2006.
