Steven Schiesser

Steven Schiesser is an experienced professional in vocational education and employment services, currently serving as a CIEC at Toolworks since August 2021 and also working as a Vocational Education Instructor as a contractor since May 2021. Previously, Steven was an Employment Coordinator at Bay Area Community Services from October 2018 to May 2021, focusing on housing-insecure adults with mental health challenges. Other roles include Job Developer/Case Manager at Career Employment Center/Lao Family Community Development, where Steven supported diverse community members in overcoming employment barriers, and positions with the California Department of Rehabilitation, providing coaching for individuals with disabilities. Steven holds a Master of Public Administration with Honors from California State University, East Bay, along with a Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University and a BA in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
