Michael Walker

Michael Walker is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in military and civilian flight operations. Currently serving as an Approved Check Pilot at Top Aces since January 2019, Michael is certified for the CARS 702 Alpha Jet and Lear 35. Prior to this, Michael had a distinguished career with the Department of National Defence from September 2003 to February 2020, where roles included Reserve Fighter Pilot, Officer Commanding Fighter Standards and Evaluation, and CF-18 Instructor Pilot. Michael's experience includes serving in Afghanistan as a Forward Air Controller and coordinating air assets in combat. Additionally, Michael served as an Exchange F-16 Aggressor Pilot with the United States Air Force, providing threat academics and participating in large-scale exercises. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, focusing on Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations.
