Ray King

Ray King has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Ray began as the CEO of Semaphore, Inc. in 1984 and held that role until 2002 when they became the CEO of SnapNames. In 2005, they became the CEO of AboutUs and the Principal of ICANNWiki. In 2013, they took on the role of CEO of Top Level Design, LLC, where they were responsible for the registry for .design, .wiki, and more. Finally, they became the CEO of Porkbun in 2015, and they currently hold that position at DotGay, which they joined in 2019.

Ray King attended Bronx High School of Science from 1978 to 1982, and then went on to Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1985, where they studied Computer Science.
