Eric Yang

CEO at Topaz Labs

Eric Yang began their career in 2008 as the Co-Founder of Topaz Labs, helping with web and marketing. In 2011, they founded PhotoWhoa, a photography deals site with their friend Kevin. After growing the company to $40k in monthly revenue, they sold the company and returned to Topaz Labs in 2013 as the Marketing Manager. In 2016, Yang joined Snapdocs as a Product Manager and Engineer, leaving as employee #11 at a SF startup backed by YC, Sequoia, SV Angel, and Peter Thiel. Finally, in 2018 Yang returned to Topaz Labs as the CEO, building Topaz Photo AI and Topaz Video AI to help photographers, graphics designers, and videographers maximize image quality. Theirtech has been covered by Fast Company, The Verge, Engadget, Mashable, BBC. Eric is currently growing the company quickly and profitably.

Eric Yang attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science from 2005 to 2007. Eric then attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2010 to 2011.
