Mandy Visser

Mandy Visser is a Ph.D. graduate in Cognition and Communication, with extensive experience in interpersonal communication and dementia research. Currently, as the Coordinator of Research at Topaz, Mandy leads a team managing 27 ongoing research projects aimed at enhancing elderly care and social well-being. Previously, they served as a postdoctoral research fellow and lecturer at various institutions, contributing to improvements in communication protocols for dementia care. Additionally, Mandy engages with the community as a café host at the Alzheimer café in Leiden, fostering discussions about living with dementia.
