Wolter Smit

Wolter Smit is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader, having co-founded TOPdesk in 1993 and currently serving as its CEO. Smit also holds the position of President and Board Member at VNO-NCW Delft, where efforts are directed towards promoting entrepreneurship in the West of the Netherlands. As Treasurer for TEDx Delft, Smit contributes to spreading impactful ideas through independently organized events. Smit's commitment to education is illustrated through previous service on the Curatorium of Stanislas College. Earlier leadership roles include Chairman of the Board for Jong Management VNO-NCW, focusing on young entrepreneurs, and Member of the Executive Committee at VNO-NCW. Smit holds a Master of Science in Physics from Delft University of Technology and completed VWO at Rijksscholengemeenschap Oud-Beijerland.
