Athanasios Wees is a first-year student at McGill University and a Schulich Leader for 2024. With a commitment to equitable education, they have worked extensively with youth, teaching classes at their high school and founding a water polo club. Athanasios served as a swim instructor and lifeguard for the Comox Valley Regional District, is currently an independent consultant with Topia focused on developing online pedagogical systems, and holds executive roles in the Comox Youth Council, where they have organized various community events.
