John Haager

Chief Blockchain Architect at Topia Technology

John Haager has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. John started their career in 1993 as a Systems Analyst/Consultant at Delta Technologies. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Systems Engineer at KSA Training Centers, where they designed and maintained network infrastructure and was responsible for maintaining network and software configurations.

In 1997, John joined Intercomp Augusta as a Computer Technician, where they designed and maintained network infrastructure for various businesses and installed and upgraded the in-house Windows NT 4.0 network.

John then moved on to IntelliSystems in 1998 as a Technical Engineer, where they planned, designed, installed, and maintained networks for multiple customers and provided certified repair of HP and Compaq systems and printers.

In 1999, John worked as a Senior Network Engineer at ComputerOne for a few months before joining Topia Technology as the Chief Blockchain Architect. At Topia Technology, they led investigations on Distributed Ledger Technology and blockchains and designed, developed, supported, and deployed Secrata, a secure file sync and sharing platform.

John Haager attended Patch American High School from 1988 to 1992. After completing high school, they enrolled at Augusta State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. John attended Augusta State University from 1992 to 1997.
