Shawn L has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shawn started their career as a Computer Technician at Intercomp, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining network infrastructure for various organizations. During this time, they also installed and upgraded in-house Windows NT 4.0 network systems.

In 2002, Shawn joined ComputerOne as a Network Engineer, where they continued their work in network infrastructure maintenance and design. Shawn stayed with this company until 2007.

Following that, in 2007, Shawn joined Google as a Senior Software Engineer. Shawn held this position for eight years, playing a significant role in software development.

In 2015, Shawn transitioned into the field of blockchain technology by joining Topia Technology as a Blockchain Engineer. Shawn specified public interfaces for mobile objects and designed secure data communication pathways for the transfer of these objects between systems.

Recently, Shawn moved up the ranks and became the Chief Blockchain Architect at Topia Technology. In this role, they lead investigations on Distributed Ledger Technology and blockchains. Shawn has worked on projects involving trustworthy audit logs and peer-to-peer sharing of digital assets. Additionally, they have led the design, development, support, and deployment of Secrata, a secure file sync and sharing platform.

Shawn L completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Cryptography and Computer Software Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which they attended from 1992 to 1996. Shawn then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Georgia from 1997 to 2000.
