Eric Staal

Eric Staal is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Designer at Philips since June 2021, Eric has held multiple positions, including Software Engineer at Topic Embedded Systems since February 2007 and Software Designer at Océ - A Canon Company from October 2013 to November 2023, where responsibilities included managing embedded software for the Niagara project. Previous positions include developing drivers and applications for ASML wafer handlers at CCM Centre for Concepts in Mechatronics and basic software development for ASML machines. Eric began their career as a Helpdesk employee at CendrisBSC. With a Master’s degree in Electrotechniek from the University of Twente and a degree in Computer Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Eric has a solid educational foundation supporting their technical expertise.
