Arjen Singels

Arjen Singels is a Software Engineer currently employed at Topicus since December 2023, with prior experience at Summit Developers and NS in similar roles. Between January 2017 and August 2022, Arjen worked at BBD, where notable projects included upgrading SWIFT queue infrastructure and leading the Claims modernisation project, utilizing technologies such as Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Quarkus, and Docker. Initial professional experience was gained as a Graduate Developer on the Sanlam Collective Investments project, with responsibilities including system maintenance and migration to modern technologies. Arjen holds an Honours degree in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution. Further foundational education was completed at Stellenberg High School.
