Edo Vellenga

Edo Vellenga is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as CFO at Topicus since September 2022, Edo previously held the position of COO at Marsh McLennan Nederland from September 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, Edo was CFO for Mercer Nederland B.V., a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, overseeing responsibilities for the Benelux and Nordics regions from October 2014 to September 2020. Edo's career also includes a significant tenure at KPMG Nederland, where roles progressed from Manager to Senior Manager and ultimately Partner between October 2008 and October 2014. Edo obtained a Master of Science degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1996 to 2000 and later completed the postdoctoral register accountantsopleiding (RA) at the same institution from 2000 to 2003.
