Rik E. is an experienced Data Engineer currently engaged in a migration project to Snowflake at Topicus since November 2023. Prior to this role, Rik held various positions at Menzis, including Business Intelligence Specialist and Developer Business Intelligence IV DataCare, from June 2018 to October 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Informatie Analist / Business Intelligence at De Heus Voeders B.V. and Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Menzis, as well as extensive tenure as DWH Specialist / Dataspecialist at Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei from February 2008 to April 2016. Early career experience includes positions as BI Consultant at SAS Institute and Application Developer at KLM, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of OLAP MI applications. Rik holds a Post HBO degree in Big Data & Analytics from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and an HBO degree in Information Management from NCOI -Opleidingen. The academic background is complemented by a Bachelor in Aeronautical Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
