Alex Zimmer

Alex Zimmer is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering. As the CTO and co-founder of Topologic since February 2022, Alex has been instrumental in driving innovation. In addition, Alex serves as a Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Bits and Atoms and previously held the title of CTO and late co-founder at Kniterate from June 2018 to January 2022. Alex's career began at Emulate Inc. as a Software Developer, following a role as a Visiting Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, where software and hardware were developed for Organs-on-Chips research. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a secondary concentration in Computer Science from Harvard University.
