Pablo Miranda

Pablo Miranda has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. In that time, they have worked for seven different companies. Pablo's first job was as a Software Engineer Intern at SC3 SPA, where they learned to build and extend Django applications and work in a multidisciplinary team. In 2018, they joined Unholster as a Software Engineer, where they built automation for pension contribution calculation, worked on a lead management platform for an international insurance company, removed two hours a day of manual digitation for 30 people by building an ETL system, and helped build new user interfaces for a financial cooperative institution. In 2020, they joined Invierte Propiedades as a Software Engineer, where they built internal tools for brokers to handle the whole rent and sale pipeline on the platform, and improved scraping system to get leads from national real estate portals. Pablo then joined Cornershop by Uber as a Software Engineer, where they worked with several teams in many parts of the product. In 2021, they joined Houm as a Software Engineer II, where they designed and implemented a monitoring system and control system to their demand processes. Pablo was then promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Emma Cares, where they designed a way to build extensions around Saleor, an open source ecommerce platform. Lastly, they joined Topsort as a Software Engineer, where they achieved IC3 Engineer rank, designed and implemented end to end testing over the 3 main systems, designed and implemented optimizations over endpoints critical to the operation, and was the project lead for priority queues implementation using celery with multiple queues and workers.

Pablo Miranda received their Civil Engineering degree with a field of study in Computer Science from the Universidad de Chile in 2020. In May 2022, they obtained the Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. In July 2020, they earned the EF SET English Certificate 79/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
