James DeVogelear

James DeVogelear is a Senior Creative Director currently at Topstep, having previously served as Design Director at BuzzFeed from 2013 to 2023, where they successfully built the first internal design team and established processes that positioned BuzzFeed as an industry leader in native advertising. Prior to that, James worked as a Designer at Coca-Cola, where they led significant projects, including the rebranding of Smartwater and the successful rollout of Vitaminwater’s ‘Stur-D’. They began their career with a BFA in Graphic Design from Purchase College, SUNY, and completed internships at Fuze Beverage and Hylas Publishing.
