James DeVogelear

James DeVogelear is a Senior Creative Director at Topstep, having previously served as Design Director at BuzzFeed from 2013 to 2023, where they built the internal design team and standardized operations to position BuzzFeed as a leader in native advertising. They also held roles as a Senior Designer and Designer at BuzzFeed and Coca-Cola, respectively, contributing to major branding and product initiatives. James completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Purchase College, SUNY, in 2006. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a design intern at Fuze Beverage and Hylas Publishing.
