James Spolar

James Spolar is a Senior Attorney and Corporate Governance Specialist with over 20 years of experience advising private equity-sponsored and publicly traded companies. They have served as General Counsel and Secretary for several notable firms, including AudioEye and iMedia Brands, Inc., where they managed complex legal matters and provided strategic leadership. With a strong background in corporate legal affairs from roles at Life Time Inc. and Medtronic, James specializes in driving corporate transformations. They hold a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law, where they graduated with high distinction. Currently, James is the Deputy General Counsel at Topstep.
