Duncan Beatty

Duncan Beatty serves as CFO and Strategic Finance Consultant at Toptal since March 2021. Previously, Duncan held the position of Lead Finance - Strategy at Motion! and was General Manager and CFO at Finca Tierra Verde SAC, where responsibilities included founding a premium chocolate brand and overseeing strategic planning and financial operations. Prior experience includes project management in a privately held mining company, director of business projects at Business Hub SAC, and strategic analysis at Amyris. Duncan’s early career featured roles at Microsoft, Eco Ventures, Onix, and Star Medical/Coherent Medical. Duncan earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
