Ping Yan

Ping Yan is an experienced data analyst and engineer with a strong background in geophysics and seismology. Currently at Toptracer since May 2022, Ping Yan focuses on building dashboards using Power BI, Grafana, and DataDog for monitoring system performance and analyzing large datasets to provide insights for business decisions. Previously at LabMind from October 2020 to April 2022, Ping Yan developed Python scripts to enhance lab workflows and improved Excel templates. Before that, Ping Yan served as a Geophysical Data Analyst at Zhejiang University from March 2017 to November 2019, where extensive analyses of geophysical datasets were conducted using Python, Matlab, and FORTRAN. Ping Yan holds a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Uppsala University and a Master's degree in the same field from Jilin University.
