Roman Schnarwiler started their work experience at Siemens in 1998 as an Electronics Engineering Trainee. Roman worked there until 2002. In 2005, they joined Toradex as a Development Engineer and later became the Platform Manager in 2009. From 2014 to 2019, Schnarwiler served as the CTO at Toradex, responsible for engineering, support, and technical customer support. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Process Officer at Toradex, overseeing processes, quality, and product life-cycle at the group level.

Roman Schnarwiler attended the University of applied science Luzern from 2002 to 2005. During this period, they obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earning the title of Dipl. Ing. FH.
