Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the robotics and software engineering sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Torc Robotics since January 2017, Derek has held various roles including Technical Product Director, Technical Director, Senior Team Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, Derek worked at i3 Identification International as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2006 to November 2016, and at Agnik as a Technical Project Lead/Software Engineer from September 2004 to May 2006. Derek holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Derek is an alumnus of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
