Oded Magger

Oded Magger has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Oded is currently working as a Software Team Lead at Torii since July 2022. Prior to that, Oded was a Senior Software Engineer at Empathy from September 2020 to March 2022, where they were a founding member of the Engineering team. At WeWork, Oded worked as an Engineering Manager from July 2018 to December 2019, leading the development of the Referrals platform and growing the organization. Oded also served as a Senior Software Engineer at WeWork from August 2016 to July 2018, where they initiated and led the Engineering Onboarding program. Before WeWork, Oded worked as an iOS Software Engineer at JoyTunes from May 2014 to July 2016, focusing on mobile music education games and implementing a deep-learning musical note recognition engine. At Autodesk, they worked as a Software Engineer from October 2010 to April 2014, developing the cloud-based CAD application AutoCAD 360. Oded has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University from March 2009 to September 2010 and as a Software Development intern at Intel from August 2007 to August 2008. Oded began their career as a Software Developer in the Israel Defense Forces from August 2001 to September 2005. Overall, Oded has gained extensive experience in software development, engineering management, and team leadership throughout their career.

Oded Magger has a strong education background in the field of computer science and bioinformatics. Oded earned their M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their B.Sc. in Computer Science and Computational Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, attending from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Oded also completed certifications in Leadership Development from QUATRO Leadership Lab in May 2023, and in Machine Learning from Coursera in February 2020.
