Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of various pumps and pump plants. The Company has three business segments. The Pump segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of pumps, pump plants, mechanical seals and other pump-related equipment. The Environment segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of environmental equipment, as well as the plan, manufacture and sale of recycling products from various wastes. The New Energy segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of wind power generation equipment, small hydroelectric generation equipment and bio mass power generation equipment, as well as the supply of electricity. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 23 subsidiaries and seven associated companies.
