Lars Christensen

Lars Christensen is the current Head of Projects at TORM. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at Navitaship from July 2009 to May 2011. Navitaship is a global shipbroking company that focuses on specialised tonnage, servicing clients within RORO, ROPAX, PCTC and Offshore/Heavylift tonnage. Christensen was responsible for leadership, sale & purchase of second-hand tonnage, chartering, valuations, contracting of new buildings, asset management, and operations management while at Navitaship.

From January 1997 to June 2009, Christensen worked at Maersk Broker as Vice President. Prior to that, they were a shipbroker at EA Gibson Shipbrokers from January 1990 to December 1992 and then Manager at Maersk Line from January 1992 to December 1997. Christensen started their career as a MISE Trainee at Maersk Group from January 1988 to December 1990.

Lars Christensen has an Executive MBA in Business Administration from IMD, a field in General Management from Columbia Business School, and a type in International Trade from Copenhagen Business School.

Lars Christensen reports to Jacob Meldgaard, CEO. They work with Kim Balle - CFO, Jesper S. Jensen - Head of Technical Division.
