Brian Hu

Brian Hu is an experienced engineer specializing in product design and development, currently serving as Engineer III in Design at The Toro Company since October 2020. Previously, Brian worked as a Senior Product Engineer at Autosplice, Inc. from July 2013 to 2020, where responsibilities included designing mechanisms leveraging shape memory alloy (SMA) wire characteristics and collaborating with sales and marketing to define product specifications. Brian's career began at Dynalloy, Inc. from October 2006 to April 2013 as a Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager, focusing on incorporating SMA in product designs and overseeing the development process for prototypes and production machines. Brian holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine (2001-2006) and a Mechanical Design and Analysis Certificate from UC San Diego Extended Studies (2020-2021).
