Christopher Simmerman

Christopher Simmerman is currently a Data Scientist at The Toro Company, where significant achievements include implementing a support vector machine (SVM) classifier that reached 97% accuracy for predicting product issues and developing applications using OpenAI Large Language Models to facilitate customer interaction with enterprise data. Previously, Christopher served as an Information Technology Intern, automating data processes and collaborating on machine learning projects to analyze agronomic trends. Academic experience includes tutoring STEM subjects at Normandale Community College, enhancing student outcomes, and working as a Teaching Assistant to facilitate programming discussions. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Data Science from Metro State University and an Associate of Science in Computer Science and Data Analytics from Normandale Community College.
