Gregory S. Janey

Group VP, Landscapes & Contractor at Toro

Greg Janey was appointed group vice president, contractor and residential businesses in November 2022 with added responsibility for the Exmark, BOSS Snowplow and Intimidator Group businesses. Janey has served as vice president, residential and landscape contractor businesses since December 2019 and expanded his leadership role in November 2020 to include The Toro Company's Center for Technology, Research and Innovation (CTRI) and lead the Technology Strategy Council. Previously, Janey served as general manager of residential and landscape contractor businesses from November 2017 to December 2019, and as director of marketing for the international business from March 2015 to November 2017.

Janey joined The Toro Company in 2004 as a marketing associate in the commercial business and was named marketing manager in 2005. He subsequently held roles in commercial marketing until 2008 when he joined the international business as senior manager of marketing. In 2010, Janey moved to the residential mass sales team as national account manager. He was subsequently named director of residential mass sales and national accounts, where he served from December 2011 to March 2015.

Janey earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and completed the Booth School of Business - Advanced Management Program at The University of Chicago.
