Julie Ruffcorn

Julie Ruffcorn has extensive experience in sourcing and materials management, currently serving as a Sourcing Manager for Material Flow Optimization & Supplier Engagement at The Toro Company since April 2017. Julie is a lean practitioner and Six Sigma Black Belt focused on embedding operational excellence in materials practices. Previously, Julie has held several leadership positions at The Toro Company, including roles managing significant sourcing teams and overseeing substantial spending in steel fabrications, castings, and operations buyers. Prior to joining Toro, Julie worked at Caterpillar Paving Products Inc. in various purchasing leadership positions, managing large teams and supplier relationships, while also driving process improvements and cost reductions through Six Sigma initiatives. Julie began her career at Rosemount Aerospace, where responsibilities included purchasing and production planning. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a marketing emphasis from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
