Kevin L. Smith

Kevin Smith was appointed vice president, Ditch Witch, in December 2022. Previously, he served as general manager for Ditch Witch from November 2020 to November 2022. Smith joined The Toro Company as general manager of Subsite Electronics and Hammerhead Trenchless when Charles Machine Works was acquired in 2019. Smith has responsibility for the Ditch Witch, Subsite, American Augers, Trencor and Radius brands.

Smith joined Charles Machine Works in 1993 and held various roles in manufacturing, sales, marketing, and research and development. He was named president of MTI Equipment in 2013 and transitioned to president of Hammerhead Trenchless in 2015.

Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. He currently serves on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers Infrastructure Taskforce.
