Torrey & Gray specializes in placing senior finance and accounting leaders into private equity portfolio companies and growth-stage businesses. We recruit Controllers, CFOs, VP Finance, FP&A Directors, and technical accounting talent — the roles that directly impact close cycles, audit readiness, and value creation.
Our clients include PE sponsors such as Accel-KKR, TPG, Vestar Capital Partners, One Equity Partners, and Flexpoint Ford, along with their portfolio companies across SaaS, hospitality, manufacturing, and professional services.
We offer three engagement models: direct hire executive search, interim and project staffing through our Ascend process, and staff augmentation for leave coverage, backfills, and surge capacity.
Founded in 2007 and led by principals who are personally involved in every engagement, we operate in one lane — finance and accounting leadership inside PE-backed and growth-oriented businesses.
