Tamara Carey

Tamara Carey is a retail professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Store Leader at Torrid since June 2023, Tamara previously held the position of Store Leader at maurices and also worked as First Assistant Manager. Prior experience includes a role as 1st Assistant at CATO FASHIONS, where responsibilities included training associates and enhancing store morale. Tamara was Customer Service Manager at Cabela’s, overseeing customer service operations and managing a team of Outfitters, and also worked as Department Manager at Walmart, managing multiple departments and employee training. Tamara holds an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Technical Community College and a high school diploma from Clayton High School.
