Ryan Maraj

Ryan Maraj has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ryan began their career at GE, where they held various positions, including Sales Coach, Regional Sales Leader, Customer and Supply Chain Operations Leader, Manager of Shop Operations, and Process Leader/Six Sigma Black Belt. During their time at GE, they were instrumental in driving revenue growth, optimizing sales team structures, and implementing operational improvements.

In 2017, Ryan Maraj started their own consulting company, RM Business Management Consulting, where they focused on sales growth, marketing, and commercial operations. Ryan collaborated with clients on creating executable strategies to enhance their businesses.

Most recently, Ryan Maraj worked at Torstar Corporation as a Senior Director in two different roles. In their role as Senior Director of Sales Performance and Enablement, they were responsible for managing and optimizing various business activities and processes to ensure the success of the sales organization. In their role as Senior Director of Advertising, they managed a regional sales team and developed marketing solutions for clients in real estate, quick service restaurants, government, and automotive sectors.

Ryan Maraj's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Western University. Ryan completed their Bachelor's of Engineering Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. In 2017, they pursued further education at MaRS Discovery District, where they completed the Entrepreneurship101 program in the field of Information Technology. Following this, in the same year, Ryan attended Stanford University, where they studied Marketing and obtained a certification in the Power of Stories to Fuel Innovation.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan Maraj also holds various certifications. In 2019, they obtained the certification for "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials" from LinkedIn. In 2020, they completed the PowerMBA program from ThePowerMBA. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the certification for "Leading People" from Harvard Business Publishing.
