John Nelson

John Nelson has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. John began their career as a Semi-Senior Accountant at Gikow Bierman & Talesnick in 1993. John then worked as a Supervisor at Wiss & Company, LLP from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, they joined EY as a Senior before moving on to Toys R Us in 1999. At Toys R Us, they held the position of Director of Accounting and External Reporting, where they managed various accounting functions and played a key role in financial reporting and analysis. In 2004, they joined Maidenform as the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller, a role they held for ten years. In 2014, they joined Tory Burch as the Vice President, Global Controller, responsible for overseeing global finance operations. John was later promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Global Controller in January 2021.

John Nelson attended Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 1989 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on CPA. John also obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant in both New Jersey and New York State.
