Matic Bitenc began their professional career in 2004 as the Founder and Chief Editor of Jabuk. In 2006, they took an Intern role at IODG design. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Web Designer at EPL d.o.o. During this time, they also took on the role of User Experience Architect at 3fs d.o.o., where they created user experiences and business models for various mobile and web applications. In 2013, they became a Member of the Electronic Communications Council of the Republic of Slovenia. Finally, in 2012, they co-founded and became the CEO of Toshl.
Matic Bitenc attended Gimnazija Kranj from 2002 to 2006. Matic then attended the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana from 2006 to 2012. During this time, they also attended Sciences Po Lille from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Certificat d'Études Politiques in European studies.
