Chris Kim is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced machine learning engines for various applications. Currently employed at Viva Republica (Toss) since June 2025, Chris previously served as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Coupang from April 2022 to June 2025 and as a Senior AI Developer at Igloo Security from August 2015 to April 2022. At Igloo Security, Chris was responsible for creating both supervised and unsupervised learning systems capable of analyzing real-time security events and detecting anomalies, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in handling high-volume data streams. Educationally, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an International Baccalaureate from UWC Mahindra College.
