Heejin Lim

Heejin Lim has a strong background in software engineering and product management. Starting in 2013, Heejin worked as a Software Engineer at Fasoo, where they developed a document cloud and co-op system for enterprises. They also designed a centralized document management system and created graphical visualizations of document usages.

In 2015, Heejin joined Kakao Corp as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in designing, developing, and operating the New Display Ad Server for Kakao AD. This system handled a high volume of display ad requests and was a key project for the company.

Moving to Viva Republica (Toss) in 2018, Heejin worked as a Software Engineer for Toss Pay, a mobile payment and digital wallet service. They developed various features like a subscription payment model and an agency commission model. They also created administration pages for merchants and agencies.

At Toss Securities, Heejin joined as a Software Engineer and Technical Lead in 2019. They were responsible for establishing the company as an initial member and the first developer of the Toss Securities project. Heejin designed the technical foundations and architectures and set up a gateway server for integrating with the core securities trading system.

Currently, Heejin is working at Viva Republica (Toss) as a Product Lead, responsible for leading product development efforts. They previously held the role of Technical Product Owner, where they managed the technical aspects of product development.

Heejin Lim started their education journey in 2008 at Mississippi State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Heejin completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Heejin Lim obtained a certification as a Foreign Exchange Officer from the Korea Banking Institute in January 2020.
