David Smith

David Smith has a diverse background in safety and process operations, starting with their role as a Damage Controlman in the US Navy from 1996 to 2000. David then worked as a Process Operator at Shell Oil Company from 2000 to 2005 and at Arkema from 2006 to 2012. Following this, they transitioned to roles at Aker BioMarine Antarctic US and Total Safety, Supplies & Solutions. Most recently, they have been working as a Lead Safety Technician at Total Safety since 2021. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated proficiency in maintaining equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and working in manufacturing environments.

David Smith completed a Certificate in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Texas A&M University from 2000 to 2012. In 2000-2001, they also obtained a certification in Shell Process Operator Course from San Jacinto College. In 2016, they received an Electrician Apprentice Certification from TXDLR.
