Mark Simons

Mark Simons is the Head of Gas Origination at TotalEnergies, bringing over 20 years of experience in energy trading and origination with a focus on gas markets. Previously, they held leadership roles at BG Group, Maersk Oil, and Energy Flux, where they excelled in business development and operational management. Mark is also an elected Board Member of the European Federation of Energy Traders, contributing to the integrity of European gas, power, and carbon markets. They began their career in the BP Commercial Graduate Scheme and hold a degree in Economic History and Politics from the University of Exeter.
