Shaun Thomson

Shaun Thomson has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Shaun began their career at Schlumberger, where they worked as a Field Engineer before progressing to Senior Field Engineer and eventually Senior Technical and Sales Engineer. During their time at Schlumberger, they were responsible for designing and executing stimulation and fracturing treatments in the North Sea and providing technical support for treatments in West Africa. Shaun also mentored and coached junior engineers.

In 2017, Shaun joined Maersk Oil as a Senior Production Technologist for a year before moving on to TotalEnergies. At TotalEnergies, they held several roles, including Senior Stimulation Engineer, Well Technology Team Lead, and currently serves as the Well Engineering and Stimulation Team Lead.

Shaun Thomson attended Heriot-Watt University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Masters of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with Energy Engineering.
