Julio Gejer

Julio Gejer has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. Julio is currently working as a CPO & CTO at TotalPass Brasil since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Mentor | Advisor Investor at Brota Company starting from October 2021. Gejer also served as a CPO & CTO at Verzo S.A. from May 2022 to January 2023.

In their previous roles, they were the CPO & CTO at Bom Pra Crédito, where they focused on improving the lending marketplace through reorganizing roles and teams, implementing agile methodologies, creating metrics, and migrating to a new cloud and suppliers.

Gejer was the Global Senior Director of Product Management at Gympass, where they were responsible for hiring and managing product managers and designers, setting product vision, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

Julio also worked as a Group Product Manager at Catho, leading the Product Management area for the B2B side of the recruiting platform. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at Acesso Soluções de Pagamento, focusing on hiring and building tech and product teams.

During their tenure at Locaweb, Gejer held various roles, including Head of Products and Software Engineering. Julio achieved significant outcomes in this role, contributing to the success of the web hosting and cloud company.

Gejer started their career as a Product Manager and Software Engineer at UOL, where they worked on developing a new product and implementing architectural solutions.

Outside of their corporate roles, Gejer also worked as an entrepreneur and co-founder of a retail coffee shop with an internet café. Julio was involved in all aspects of the business, including business planning, feasibility analysis, and obtaining financial loans.

Julio Gejer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, from 1999 to 2004. Julio furthered their education by pursuing an MBA in Strategic Business Management from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, from 2009 to 2011.
