Danny Thompson

Danny Thompson has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Danny started their career in 1999 as a Computer Technician at Currie Computers. In 2003, they founded and managed daily operations of LAYER 3 INTEGRATION, a break/fix IT consultancy. In 2013, they co-founded Layer 3 IT, a Managed IT Service provider, and successfully grew it to a multimillion-dollar entity. In October 2020, Layer 3 IT was acquired by TOTLCOM Inc., where Danny currently serves as Vice President of Operations. In this role, they oversee technology operations and provides leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a staff of 6 employees. Danny has managed technology projects from conception to deployment, integrated and implemented new systems, and created internal procedures to increase productivity and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Danny Thompson has an Associate's degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute. Danny also has several certifications, including Cambium cnMaestro X from Cambium Networks (obtained in 2022), Sophos Certified Technician from Sophos (obtained in 2019), Wisenet Certified Professional from Hanwha Techwin America (obtained in 2019), VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP) from VMware (obtained in 2017), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from New Horizons (obtained in 2005), and Systems Engineering (Microsoft MCP) from New Horizons (obtained in 2005).
