Eric Derckx

Eric Derckx has a long and varied work experience. Since 2018, they have been the CTO and Founder of Touch Biometrix Ltd, a Founder and CEO of Rezzonation, an Investor and Owner of Stairway to Heaven BV, a SSI Specialty Instructor and NOB/CMAS 2* Instructor for Freelance Professional Dive Instructor, and a Passionate Entrepreneur, Start-up Developer, Innovator, Consultant, and Investor for Derckx Consultancy BV. Prior to 2018, they were the Director of Engineering for Amazon and Liquavista from 2013 to 2016, the VP of Engineering for Samsung LCD Netherlands R&D Center (Liquavista) from 2010 to 2013, the VP of Engineering for Liquavista from 2006 to 2010, the Engineering Manager for Philips Semiconductors - Solid State Lighting from 2006 to 2010, and the Display Module Electronics Architect & Groupleader and Chief Engineer - Mobile Display Module Architectures & Interfaces for Philips Mobile Display Systems from 2002 to 2006.

Eric Derckx obtained a BSc / Ing in Electronics Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences between 1989 and 1992. Eric then went on to earn an MSc / Ir in Technology Mgt / Electronics from Eindhoven University of Technology between 1992 and 1994.
