Jack Taylor

Jack Taylor joined Touchdown Ventures in 2017 and focuses on investments in the Internet of Things (IoT) and physical security sectors.

Before Touchdown, Jack spent time in the New York venture ecosystem evaluating investment opportunities at Laconia Capital Group, New York Angels, and Virgil Capital, where he collaborated with investors on all due diligence aspects, including sourcing, business plan reviews, industry research, financial modeling, and portfolio support. Jack began his career on Wall Street, working for three years at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he specialized in short-term interest rate products.

Jack holds a BA in History from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.

While in business school, Jack was co-founder and President of the local InSITE Fellowship chapter and gained operating experience at Personal Capital, a fintech startup in Silicon Valley.
